Brass Animal

Today's blog is going to be a little review of a new up and coming band called Brass Animal formerly known as Davey Blue.

First of all, if you're a music lover or looking to study music. Manchester is a big beautiful city. The music scene is so diverse and is a lot different from Hull, it has many opportunities for aspiring musicians and is just generally great city which I love visiting.

Let's crack on! Brass Animal is a 4 piece band, three from England and one from Ireland. Based in Manchester. This quirky bunch rock up with effortless style and flare (also all very lovely and down to earth) I was really anticipating to see them live after hearing some of their demos on their SoundCloud.

After seeing them at The Spinning Top in Stockport it's safe to say these guys have so much passion and fire. They played a set of original tunes which were all so diverse and authentic. The wavy dynamics of the songs just make you wanna groove, with a fusion of reggae dub and some psychedelic influences. Really stripped raspy cool vocals and some insane harmonies that are just too good not to see!

It's hard to find something different but these guys have cracked the code.
